    GONE FISHING! Unbelievable!!

So I was minding my own business testing aluminum propellors. Keep in mind that these are polished to a mirror finish. Anyhow, I was trolling out at about 1/4 throttle to turn around and make a high speed pass when.....WHABLAMMOOOO!!!!! Something tagged my boat and flipped her right over!! Then another splash as a fairly large fish dove back into the water! I stood still in misbelief for literally about 20 seconds with the controller in my hand and my boat laying belly up. Amazing. I inspected the boat after and apparently he was going for my aluminum prop as every blade was cupped over. Still don't know if it was a Pike, Muskie, or Bass. I guess the lessoned learned is to use polished aluminum props for bait and not boats! Wish I could have taken that fish home with me.

Anyone else have an amazing RC boating story? Spills? Frills? Let's hear 'em!

Not R/C boat related, but we went kayaking in a new inflatable Sevylor kayak we bought last weekend. It had a red skeg fin on the bottom. The entire time we were in the water we could feel little bumps as we paddled. The few times we looked into the water, we had about 5 to 6 fish circling under out boat nipping at the skeg..
Im guessing the economic downturn has the fish begging for food also..

Ran over a brown snake ( read deadly!) with my DF33 at a lake out in the bush we frequent, thought it was a stick till I got about 5' away up to my chest in water and it started moving. Very nearly *!***!***!***!** myself that day!!

A couple of years ago I was running my Oval Master 26 at dusk at the cottage where there are very large muskie. Something appeared on the surface in the middle of the circles I was running the boat in - looked like the back of a very large fish just breaking the surface. I brought the boat in at that point and never knew for sure what it was. Muskies are known to be attracted to water disturbances and noise at the surface so it is proabable that's what had happened.

Both sides of the props were polished?

Its a good idea to only polish the leading side of the prop, polishing the back side causes it to not shed water to well.

                Either way, what a story!

I am a surfer, I can relate to that... one time I was surfing in post storm winter murky water in Brazil and in between sets I caught something on my peripheral right side... I turned and saw nothing... while I was looking a freaking dolphin emerged 2 feet from me ... needles to say I needed a change of shorts after that.

you probably wont believe this but that photo is of a white pointer that was saved a few years ago by the guy in the canoe
the shark now follows the guy about, if he stops the shark comes up to him and he rubs its belly
guess the old saying "true is stranger than fiction" applies here
