How does a crash at 80 Mph constitute a statement that Schulze controllers are "unstable" ????

No, Schulze is perfect before its got wet, its was in water like 2 hrs before i got it in, its like 8 feets deep so too much pressure and pop the hacth open, the boat is no damaged but the hatch does, i dunno i was hit, i thought about turtle or something was flooding on top of water, the boat went to the bottom collected all the mud then pop up after about 4-5 secs, i got buoys so the boat was flooding ....haft way with the noise up and... everything got wet

Mine sat in the water once for about an hour... I took it out of the boat and placed it in my furnace vents of my house and had the fan circulate air for about 3 days solid....it worked perfectly after that. Then I coated it in 30 minute epoxy and has been trouble free for the past 2 years.

You never know, spray the esc down with some electronics cleaner, drop it in a bag of rice for a day or two to suck out the moisture and see what happens. It may come back to life. I did that with a cell phone that fell in a porta potty....talk about nasty, it sat in there for a whole night before I decided it was worth the effort to fish it out and see if it was fixable. I took it all apart and cleaned everything I could with electronics spray, put that bad boy in a bag od uncle bens rice for two days and on the third day I turned that phone on and it worked. Def worth a try in my eyes.

I am in no way affilated with Uncle Bens rice or am trying to promote this product

I bet you think about the porta potty everytime you make a call

I saw a 40-160 that spent less than 6 hours on the bottom of Legg Lake come up with half the metal eaten off the legs of some chips. Some pond water is severely corrosive.

What should be done after recovering a soaked ESC is to soak it again in distilled water to flush off any remaining electrolites. Not doing this will not stop corrosive galvanic action, and can cause the ESC to fail days/months later. Soak it in water, rinse it in alcohol, dry by heating with a hair dryer and don't use it again for at least a day. These things are a major investment, they need to be treated like one.
