people have had good luck with the sv esc and the ammo motor......... the sv esc is 45 amp so it would be safe to say i could use a pulso 60amp esc with this motor and a 45cf prop on my cat

Dirtysouth31 has been running that ammo motor in his SV27 for months now. He had this to say...
He has since put that motor/esc in his Miss Vegas and still has no problems.

A friend of mine from Australia, or should I say my mate from Australia ran his Electro vee with the SV27 ESC and the stock SV27 motor. It ran 59.8km/h (37.2mph) with an M447 prop.
He put the Ammo motor in the same boat, same ESC, same batteries, SMALLER prop (k45) and it ran 66.6km/h (41.4mph)"A quick temper will make a fool of you soon enough."

At the Nationals this year, the P-Sport Hydro record was set using an AMMO motor on 4S1P lipos in a one-of-a-kind vaccuum bagged 25" DH Shovel...
Not sure if that shows how "good" the motor is, or how important it is to have an excellent hull and setup...
The motors do seem to work well... We did burn up a couple of SV27 motors over that week, however, one of them under perfectly mild stock SV27 use...... so we'll just have to see how the longevity of these similiar style "cheapy" motors pans out...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

The Ammo motors work perfectly on the SV27 ESC. Grimracer runs it too. Ammo motors are available at OSE for a mere $67.99. while supplies last! LOL
