How to figure out flex shaft size?

Hi guys. Im getting a 6mm motor coupler, but i am not sure the flex shaft cable in my boat is .130 or.150...So how do i figure out which i have? The flex shaft cable, and the hardware came from FDM.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that it's a .130
The image you posted is labeled "130x1-16"

I backtracked it on the website and Danny is correct. It is a .130 size cable.

Guys, Thanks for responding. FD has a .130x3-16, 12", and a .150x3-16, 16" cable. I measured the flex cable in my boat, and it is 16" long. Also, if you look closely. The .130 looks different than .150 cable as well.

Take it to any auto shop if you do not have a mic and have them check the size. Or go spend a few bucks at Acehardware and buy a cheap one.

            Jeff,
OSE is out of 6mm coupler... I looked on your site. You only have 6mm .150 coupler on your site. Do you have one for .130 as well? BTW, sorry, but i'm not sure what the mic looks like.

Sorry, I do not stock that one. I would probably run a 150 cable anyway. Pretty much the minmum anymore with BL motors.

I have the set screw style but that is all.

mic = micrometer but what you really want is a caliper
