    Phoenix ICE HV esc

I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet but with the release of Castle's new Phoenix ICE controllers, they will also be releasing a HV line of the Phoenix ICE controllers. I know they are plane esc's but Patrick has stated that they will be releasing both Mamba and Hydra softwares for the Phoenix ICE hardware.

What this means is it will open up yet another line of ESC's from CC that will be strong enough for the boating world. These ESC's are incorporating the latest and greatest in FET and Capacitor technologies as well as processing.

Patrick also mentioned something of the nature as being able to water cool the HV models as well. In particular he was talking about the Phoenix ICE HV 160amp model that is coming out soon. He even went as far as saying that this 160amp model will probably handle more than the current Hydra 240HV... Big words there.

So just a heads up, be on the look out for the ICE HV as well as the Hydra software to run on these mammoths!

Those are attactive ESCs, besides power capabilities, the DATA LOGGING is what we boaters have been longed for. No more Eagletree, no more RPM sensors and wirings, just the neat and convinience from the built-in function without extra power loss in added wires and connectors. Internal switching BEC also--- looking forward to the water cooled version.
