If I wanted to laminate the inside of a hull, or laminate in motor mounts etc, What oz. CF do you use? Seems like I can only find 5.7oz everywhere I search. Will 5.7 take the corners well, both inside and out?

There are lighter carbon fabrics out there, but they cost more than double what your paying for 5.7oz. See http://www.acp-composites.com/home.php?cat=251
You can get 5.7oz to take contours if it is placed on a bias, ie., the strands in the cloth are in a 45 degree orientation.
I sometimes use a spray type glue like 3M Super 77 and lightly spray the fabric before setting it into place. It helps to hold it down while being wetted with epoxy. -
Awesome, thank you for the tip. And ironically I was just on that website!
I was thinking of lining the inside of one of my hulls in preparation to make it silly fast (way in the future) plus a carbon inside looks so clean. Also, and more importantly, I have a HPR CT04 that at some point I will be able to complete and will need to do a lot of cf in that hull ie, motor mounts, bulk head and misc. brackets/ mounts etc.Comment
