Yes the Jeti 600 will run two motors. Your limit is not so much motor size, it is the load. The control is designed for 60 amps continuous, 70 amps for 30 sec.

    What is your application??

i have a villain and want to increase speed, would this esc run 2 graupner 600 or 700 motors with 14 cells? also since the jeti doesnt have BEC do i need a different reciever other than the stock 3 channel traxxas reciever?

You would be better off with the rc hydros 10-32 for that application. Although there are people using am radios with the RcHydros controls. They do not recommend it.

how do i find out what motors the jeti esc can handle under 14 cells. also how would the jeti be wired so both motors see the same amount of power, as you can tell im new to rc boating and modding.

            Ryin,

Maybe think about selling your Villian and getting a SV 27. I think you'll be better off , and much happier in the long haul.

i thought about it but, the hull seems very flat and unable to handle chop and rough water like the villain

I think that you'll find that the villian does not handle 'chop & rough water' once it gets up to 30+ mph either :).

I agree with Rex, I've modded two Villains. Even with trim tabs and turn fins they are a handful approaching 30mph.

I dont really have a need right now for anything over 30mph, im just looking to mod the villain to get up to 25-30mph and drive through some rough water. eventually i may want to build from scratch.

some things to consider about the villian; it was designed by an rc 'car' co. with the philosophy of it was complete as is(meaning it was not designed with upgrades in mind, you're supposed to fork over the cash and buy the faster item(car/truck/boat)), also designed to be mass produced(cheapest parts they could use, no part stronger than it absolutly needs to be). folks have reported that the boat/hull gets unstable at speeds over 25, one can compensate but, its expensive in terms of time and money. a scratch build will easily run more than $300(radio, hardware, motor/esc). where as for $320 you can buy a Super vee + a couple of grapner props and have a boat that will do close to 40 mph! w/o having to do much work. :) your choice. Note brushed motors will run around $35 each esc to go with $70-90

i can definetly see the amount you get for the price. show me a video of the supervee 27 running in chop without going crazy and flipping over i will be sold. every video i see on youtube the slightest chop its ready to flip over

If you want the boat to handle rough water dont modify it. we tried one on 16 cells, (mostly just to kill it) and it had alot of problems handeling slight chop. this lasted for a whole 30 sec.:D

to increase stability on rough water get a bigger boat.

the point is, if you want a boat that can handle rough water you have 2 choices. 1 settle for a boat that isn't much faster than 15-20 mph or 2) get a bigger boat 36" - 48"(3-4 feet long) the villian does what it was designed for, if you modify it to go faster it will not handle rough water.
