Ebay is rough these days, this "snipper" feature that is now built in is a turn off

I guess I should have said "sniper"...
it's a feature that is built in... you set the max amount of $$$ and the
software will maker sure that you never get outbid until you reach your max.
Everyone else has it too....
back in the day, it was a software that was held by the users (some) and that gave them an advantage at final seconds of the bidding war.

Back in the day it was rare that I lost any auctions (I had a great Sniper program). These days I don't even try anymore. The one thing I have noticed about ebay though is a lot of the sellers are willing to make great deals and some even sell off of ebay. I was after some packs on Ebay that were selling for $125 plus shipping and after a few emails back and forth the seller is giving them to me for $100 shipped :)

Ebay has always had the Maximum Bid feature. Nothing new. They did fix a bug in it recently that used to increase your bid if you only wanted to raise your maximum.

I think that is exacty why! You can't bid if in the US. (ATTENTION: NO US, MEXICO AND CANADA BIDDER), I need to move to Japan or something . . . . . . .
