Need Help, please

I was doing some maintenance on my boats and was lubing all the parts and shafts and I for the life of me cannot get the flex shaft out of my 1/8th Llumar. Anyone have any ideas? I see nothing on the clutch to loosen the cable.

im not posative but if you take off the strut the shaft should come out with it just remember to mark your strut so you know how to line it back up

Be careful dishing out information you are not sure about. Taking off the strut will only complicate things. No offense la, I know you want to help, but sometimes no information is better than the wrong information.

To the original poster - don't you have the instruction manual - or did you fail to read it? Look on pages 12 and 13, it tells you all you need to know.

nope no manual, I will look for the correct manual on line as that one is for a 1/12th nitro boat and I have an 1/8th gas boat with a clutch.

thanks everyone, it is handled. the shaft is squared of at the end so it slide's into the clutch.
