Which cat hull to use for dual drive?

I want to try a build. I want a cat hull with dual drives. Not too big that it costs me my first born, but not so small that some chop will get it airborne. Both motors don't have to be 550 sized, smaller is fine, if it'll work. I have a BBY scat cat 21 hull. I'm considering letting that go and getting something else.

Wasting too much $$ and the project hasn't even started yet. $50 on the H2O cat, (gave it away). $55 on the BBY SC21, (not sure it'll work)

I need a good foundation to start this project.

    Please advise...
