bustit...man I checked your ESC UP AND DOWN. I thought for SURE I'd find something, but it acted like a brand new one...waveforms all looked good on the oscilloscope, connected to Castle Link, held settings, updated correctly, ran it at full voltage and current in our motor "bath" test rig, EVERYTHING. The only thing I did that you didn't is I unplugged the control board to see if there was anything wrong with a component on the underside of the board or something missing...plugged it back in and ran all the tests.

And I did put in a recommendation at our meeting on Wednesday for auto lipo feature on all boat controllers, ability to adjust volt/cell you want it to cut off at (3.1/cell, 3.2, all the way to 3.5), shortening the receiver power down time from where it's currently at to around 1 second so there won't be any runaways that result in damage, the spark arrestor circuit, datalogging on the ICE HV suggestions, and of course, the popping of ESCs when plugging in (which I'm testing right now with Eod's controllers today).

Oh yes the receiver power down thing, caused my boat to crash on some rocks-sand at half throttle. Suddenly, when I was driving the boat she wouldn't do anything-no throttle-no steering response and was heading at half power towards the rocks for at least 5 secs. and bang. Very luckily only the prop got damaged and some minor scratches. Then I was wondering what happened and found out the RX pack had low voltage. Did some test at home and saw that if you have some power on the motor and switch off the transmitter the motor still runs for about 10 secs. This is too much time and it should be reduced to 1 sec as you mentioned both for low RX voltage AND lost signal AND TX low voltage. It will be very nice and safe if you can achieve that.
