Hydra 120 and a Hacker 7L???
08-31-2009, 09:46 AM
Assuming that I don't over prop... Can I run a 7L on a Hydra 120 with 5000 2S2P?
Oh yeah, I would be running this in a Vac-U-Pickle.
Thanks
Mike

I've run the 7L in N-2 offshore for years. X442/2. That setup in my Delta Force 25 is about an 80 amp setup and very reasonable. I've used Castle 120's and 125's with that setup.

Thanks Mr. Newland,
I am trying to get my Pickle set up for the Nats N2 sport class. What timing should I be setting up on my Castle hydra 120?
Thanks

I don't venture much further than timing mode 1. X442, X640, X642 are props that will put you in the ballpark.
