    running a himodel 200 amp

MY new out the box hydra 240 HV died on plug in tonight (ya big SPARK)

anyway I'm going to try my himodel 200 amp 7s esc

my question is I don't want to try to program it...i cant get the beeps sorted so can I run it on 6s without programing it?

another words will it automatically work to the setup you are running?

I hear you on that programming. Mine worked fine out of the box. But I don't think you'll have LVC without programminig it.

I use a LipoShield LVC. Its better than trying to program the esc w/o the programing card is a PITA.

For the Himodel 200A and Skywing 200A the last one died when programming it. Don't have great expectations, it is a cheap ESC good enough for max. a SV (with lots of luck). I have spent 250$ on this crap and I have nothing left.

I use the Mystery 200A, pretty much the same as the HiModel 200.
DO NOT get it wet. A light splash is fine and a bit of spray is fine. Immersed or flooded is bad.

              I run these on a 6XL in my rigger to a 640 prop for 100km/h speeds (65mph)
              also in my 29"mono with a 7XL to a M440 for 70kmh....for now speed. (about 42mph)

I love these Himodel, Mystery ESC's.
Cheap, ready out of the packet, programable if you have the patience, cheap.

              I like them.

i should clarifie about when i say getting wet. one was a leaky water cooling plate i tried, another couple were in 60+ flips that tore the hatch off. other than that if its conformal coated they usally survive a splash, have had acouple fully submerged that survived
and just incase you missed simons post cheap and cheap

I know what you saying Disar i think for my setup it might be too much to ask for, you still think the MGM is the way to go ? i was going to put my schulze 40.160 in it but don't have much room in the boat

Ok I tried to run this esc in my MM last night and i could only get half throttle

I could get no beeps when trying to bind to my tactis tx.......the instructions say to have yout tx thottle position in "full close" before plugging in the battery.....does this mean nuetral for a wheel tx?

no matter what I did I never got a beep confirmation but the boat would run but only at half thottle

                          please help

I was confused by that as well. Hold the throttle full on before and during plugging the batteries in. Then you will hear the beeps. On the Tactic radio, you may have to use the throttle reverse switch.
