Rex has hit it again. Good! It really sounds as though you are only getting 7.2 volts. Your setup looks gold . It will work . 7.2 will not get the boat up on plane at all. It will just go slow and gurgle. I have seen a several AJs setup like yours and they can rock. You even have a much better motor that the ones I have seen . Your results will be worth the effort. What prop are you using ? n.h.schmidt

I just ordered a new replacement carbon prop and a new y harness. I did notice a few nicks in the prop. Hopefully replacing these last items will solve my problems.
