    Hey Douggie,

I just built a delta force knockoff. Not thinking, I drilled some holes for the wrong hardware including the big hole for the servo linkage and boot. I taped the outside of the hull. Poured epoxy from the inside for the smaller holes. Cut some fiberglass shreads, mixed with epoxy and filled the big whole. Worked great. Minimal sanding. But I hear microballoons work pretty good too.

Can't you make new brackets that will use the same holes?

I use this for all my boats. R/C and full scale. You can get it at most boat/marine supply stores.

I comes in kits as small as as 2 ounces and you can even mix it with some chopped up fiberglass strands if you want.

My buddy uses that stuff. Now I know what for. I guess I'm going to be hitting him up in the future.

It's good stuff for sure. One thing I have noticed though. The web site says it cures in 24 hours but whenever I use it, it seems like it takes about a week to cure rock hard. I would probably wait 2-3 days to sand and a week before I drill into it. Maybe I'm just not getting the ratio right.

No, I am going to purchase the unit with no motor and try an existing SV27 motor and esc that I have. It will be installed on Prather Lap Cat 27" tunnel hull
