The AQ motor and ESC combo works very well together. As the guys said, add 2- caps and pay attention to your cooling methods. I have 2 other setups: A Fiegao 7XL with an Etti 150 with caps board, pretty fast and reliable..The other setup (and more expensive) is the Neu 1515Y with Castle 240, both setups running on FlightPower 5400 mAh 2s2p. The Neu setup borders insanity, as I am now chasing the blow-over problems.............

They have fixed the sponson area long ago, and the esc, not many have had any issues
A couple of us have run 5s on these and they hold up just fine
