New Graupner Brushless O/B questions

Ok so I took my twin O/B Mean Machine out for a spin this weekend and smoked the ESC and motors too I think!

That said I am a glutten for punishment and am determined to get this twin outboard thing to run right so my questions are:

1.) If I purchase 2 new Graupner Brushless outboards what ESC's should I use Etti's ???

2.) I think I should be able to run one of the motors counter clockwise, but not sure! I run feigao's 8 xl's counter on my toysport with no problem.

3.) Lastly these units use screw on Props w/ 4mm shafts - are these available in left & right hand configuration!

What batteries, ESC, prop, and did you use 2 ESC? I thought the Graupner outboards were brushed?

Hey Doug I used EP1's with 19 turn brushed motors in them and a traxxas 3021 ESC w/ Nimh batteries - props were 2318's I think!

This was never about going real fast --- just a cool factor on the water - was looking for mid to high 20's

Graupner just introduced Brushless versions

That ESC, I think would be suspect if you changed out the EP1 motors for brushless and 2 ESC's I think it would work. Low KV on the motors. The EP1 limits you prop size without some mods.

What outboard motors as they have 2 as far as I know, or is it a new design?

Its a GTX 820 and is listed in Stevens Outboard section of his store!

It is a new design - not meant for racing just fun running I think!
