    Radio Recommendation

    Goood day happy people,

I'm in the market for a high-quality radio system for my RC boat as my Spektrum dx5r screen is damaged. My primary use cases are oval racing and speed runs. Here are the key features I'm looking for:

Telemetry Capability: Must be able to sense voltage up to 12S (50.4V).

GPS/Speed Measurement: I need accurate speed readings.

I'm aiming for something reliable and with a solid range. If you have any recommendations or personal experiences with specific models, I?d love to hear about them. Any advice on the best setups or additional sensors that might be needed would also be greatly appreciated.

Less is more. I'd suggest finding a good Transmitter and then pair it with a standalone bluetooth GPS like the inexpensive SkyRC GPS unit and track speed with the mobile app when the boat is in range. As for transmitters, I'm very happy with my Futaba 7PX. If used with a telemetry enabled receiver, they offer a voltage sensor that reads up to 100V
