Futaba/Tactic compatibility

I'm in need of a receiver with an antenna for a C/F boat that I'm working on and was wondering if a Futaba R203GF receiver will bind to a Tactic TTX300 tramsmitter.

Won't bind, tactic with tactic, futaba with futaba etc.
Each manufacturer uses their own protocol for communication, once you have decided on a brand of 2.4 radio you are pretty much stuck with that manufacturer for everything.
There are some "clone" rx's for Spektrum and Futaba, made by Orange and Lemon. No idea about Tactic. I've never looked to closely at the clones, never used one.

That's kind of what I thought. Just wanted to make sure before I started to drop $ into this project.
