    So who's buying one of this for boating? US release appears to be right around the corner and a few are coming in from overseas.

      Wow, what a beauty! Although at $550 a pop, that is a lot of money for a BOAT radio, I am sure all the features would be appreciated by R/C land users.
      Too many boats, not enough time...

          pretty awesome, I would buy one. Its a big price jump though from the futaba 3 pm-x they offer which is imo the best boat radio I've ever used. Futaba rules.
