Spektrum radio/scorpion esc problems.

I am having trouble getting the scorpion esc to accept the spektrum throttle max/min settings. It does what the instructions say (2 beeps for max then 2 beeps for min) then it goes into alarm. I tried it with my tactic radio and no problem so it has to be a setting in the radio. I tried adjusting the throttle travel from 100 - 150% but same deal. I am hoping that someone out there has figured it out.

Ever figured this out? The ESC maybe the cause not the radio initially. If it's an airplane ESC you need the Pixistix to allow the ESC see enough throttle to engage. Steve sells them on OSE, they work great.

Not yet, it's a boat esc with water cooling and works fine with a tactic radio.

Have you tried changing the throttle settings to 0? Or even reverse?

Throttle setting n/r normal, subtrim centered, if its alarming normally its caused by a trim issue. Motor is trying to arm so esc is alarming...Ive had to adjust the trim for most esc's with my Spektrum radio.... DJ
