Throttle is on if radio turns off

If I turn off my radio the throttle instantly goes about 30%. How to fix?

turn your radio off last when you are done

What if I run outside of range or controller batteries get weak. The same thing will happen and runaway boat.

If your radio is set up with failsafe, (we do not know what radio you are using), please us that feature and set the failsafe to go to
OFF throttle if the range goes too far or the transmitter is turned off first.

you should always turn off the transmitter LAST.

            I don't see a fail safe mode on DX3S

I am sure that someone with the spektrum radios will chime in.

I use NOMADIO and Flysky GT3B radios.
              both have fail safe features.

You need to rebind the RX to the TX... The failsafes are set when you bind. Sounds like you may have had throttle trim or throttle on when you bound it??

Mine does something similar with radio on. Throttle goes to 25% and no radio when battery is supposedly low, however when I retrieve it, turn radio switch off then on it regains radio and motor quits running. This has to be in the ESC (ProBoat waterproof ESC with reverse PRB2314).
