    Spektrum Binding

This is going to sound like a stupid question, but I am having some issues with binding my Spektrum DX3C. I am able to bind it, but the settings aren't right. The steering is correct, but the throttle is off. As in, after the reciever is bound and I remove the bind plug, 'neutral position' on the will run the boat at 50%. 100% throttle is correct, and 0% is full reverse. I've tried re-binding it multiple times trying a couple different things, but I end up with the same result.
If someone can point out what I'm doing wrong, it would be much appreciated.

Common issue. Having to hold backtrigger to get it to stop running.

Recalibrate your ESC following the manufactuers recommendations. Throttle channel might need to be reversed and then calibrated.
Calibration is usually done by switching the transmitter on and holding full throttle while connecting the esc to the battery after the beeps return to idle and wait for beeps.
