I like the 20 model memory, a lot of features geared towards the off road bunch. I still like my S, all the stuff you need for boating and not too much else.
If I was in the market for a new one that might be it, I really like the way the screen is pointed on this one, doesn't feel quite natural to me too look at the end of the radio instead of the face.
I tend to hold on to radios, no telling when I'll buy a new one, my current DX replaced a Futaba Magnum Sport from the late 80's!If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

I personally don't like the way the screen is positioned on the 3C...I have gotten used to looking at the screen on the 3S.
Other than that, the 20 model memory and the SD card slot are nice features. I would definitely look at buying this if I didn't get the 3S.My Fleet:
