    External Antenna Question

    I got my MHZ Mini Antenna today, and I'm wondering how to connect my Futaba 2.4g antenna to it. It's got that little slot, but what do you use to keep it on there?

          This is not intended to be used with a 2.4G radio. The inductive wire coil allows shorter antenna length for 27~75MHz radios.

              Oh wow really? That kinda sucks as I was looking forward to using it. I don't wanna leave the antenna inside the boat, so I guess the only way to do it would be a plastic tube with the antenna sticking out.

                  Do not use that antenna with a 2.4 ghz system and yes get your antenna outside the hull if you have carbon fibre and also with other hull materials , it may be prudent.

                      Yeah I didn't wanna leave it inside the hull so I thought this would be a good solution. Guess not though. I'm gonna have to find a way to make it look nice and clean.

                              Not really my style, no offense though. I like to keep it simple so I'm probably just gonna do a little piece sticking out of a tube.
