    Getting an antenna out of a carbon fiber hull...

    Whats the best way to do it, i was told you can't simply drill a hole through and screw the antenna socket in since the carbon conducts electricity well and would lead to interferance whats the best way to do this and is there any type of antenna designed around this?

    i was looking at these two antenna's...

      The ant. MUST be completely insulated from the hull,ex. drill a hole in the hull and run the ant. wire thur a piece of silicon tube about 1" long so the wire is not touching the hull.

        using 40... so as long as the aerial doesn't touch the hull?
