    Receiver waterproofing question

Does everyone encapsulate the reciever in something or coat the exterior of the reciever with something to keep water out or do you put it in some sort of box. I am not sure what to do. I was thinking of finding very small container with a lid to put it in or to use this liquid electrical wiring stuff to cover the case of the reciever and not put it inot a container. Any opinions?

I spray my receivers with CorrosionX and do not use a balloon to protect my receivers, but my boats are always dry inside. If you have water in your boat after a run, put the receiver in a balloon or condom along with a scrap of paper towel. :)
