When was the Neu motor built? Old ones are good, newer ones, not so much. The Neu is a 40mm diameter can, 102mm in length. The TP is a 56mm can, 70mm diameter x 106mm length. Size alone, the TP has more torque, better suited for a larger hull. The Neu is lighter by 12 ounces or so, better suited for a slightly smaller setup.
What hull are you thinking of using these in, on what voltage, and what type of speed goals?
I ran a TP5680 in a 48" Outerlimits SV43 , that was probably closer to a 44-45" v-bottom hull when you account for the overhang at the rear. I had everything from a 970kv, 800kv and 650kv on 12S. 970 and 800 were overpowered for the hull, too fast. On 8S, I'd probably lean towards the 56mm motor, but don't think you need to go as long as a 5670 if you're just looking for a cruising sport boat, maybe 5660. Then again, if you already own those motors, just install a motor mount that can accept both 56 and 40mm motors and you can experiment on your own.
