Exocet 125 motor, ESC and prop combination

    Hi All,
I have just placed an order for an exocet 125 with 4 layers of carbon and a full set up from Custom CF Parts and am looking for some advice / opinions on a good motor, esc and propellor combination.
I want it to be a top end high quality boat but don't want to go to the expense of Lehner motors.
Kent from Custom CF parts is super helpful and suggested TP 4070 motors. What would be a decent ESCs and props to match these motors?
I'm not looking to set records but do want a fast 100mph + boat.
All opinions and advice would be appreciated!
    Thanks all,
    Tom

If you're not going with LMT, I'd put Tenshock motors in it. What voltage do you plan on running? Assuming 8S or less, the Castle Hydra XLX2 is your best option.

Esc & cell count is probably more important than a motor at this point, also get good quality cells, either SLS (my preference) SMC or ‘onyx’ are setting records in the car speed run community

If you are going with xlx2, 8s you’d probably get it done easily with the 1350ish kv option or the 1500 option.
