Kit motor, Esc, propeller

Hi guys, I'm trying to help an elderly person who has built a 34" boat with 3V hull that he needs to power; he tried 36XX engines with ESCs Aquastar Turnigy 160A but he broke some of them; I think he did a mistake with propeller, engine, poorly programmed ESCs or badly cooled. Would you help me to configure a Kit system (Motor / Esc / Propeller / water circulation pump) easy to find and buy on the WEB (HobbyKing, Banggood, or similar) from Italy. This model doesn't have to compete; I'd like to make it go 4S.
