    Radio noise issue

I have a 6' home built yacht I took out of moth balls (2 ys) and now have a noise issue at the motors. The boat has two Astroflight Cobalt 40 brushed motors with caps. Currently setting it up with a 6 channel 2.4G Tx & Rx. Previously ran with a Kraft system. Should the Caps be replaced?
Also have about 2' distance between ESC's and motors. As I recall this wasn't a problem before. Any suggestions?

I used to run a schottky diode as well as caps to suppress motor noise back in the brushed days, also not that not only the motors produce noise but the ESCs and the motor wires too, so get your RX and aerial as far away from them as possible.

A vertical aerial outside the boat helps a lot too.

I went 2.4ghz after I went brushless so I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that 2.4ghz was so much higher frequency than motor noise that it was no longer an issue, what 2.4 do you have?

      Thanks for your input Paul.
The Tx & Rx is a Fly Sky FS-CT6B 6 channel.
I contacted Astroflight and they are sending replacement Caps. (Nice people.) Also recommended shielding the motor wires.
