40 series 10 S motor

Dan do you mean a 40mm like a TP 4050? What kind of running are you planning? I run the 1050 D wind on 12s but that is pretty high rpm. There is a 950kv too.

I was not looking at the charts for TP Motors rite. Now I see what your saying.


With your 12s set up …. do you have data log on your ESC? I am curious, what kind of amps you draw and the max watt draw?

My set up is the TP 4060 3y 1750kv on 8s (76 mph at 78% throttle....)


having a 36 mono on 8s is a lot of fun, I imagine 10s would be more fun. I have the esc and lipos already, just would need a motor.

I have been going HV on my stuff for a bit now. I also have this 40” twin on 8s with TP 4030 series @ 1180kv

Oh and if you look up my ‘Ugly Cat’ build it will be a 10s boat. It is getting the 920kv 4050’s. Motors and Escs are next there
