TP motors sizing issue?

Hi all,
i have a 3630 motor i bought for a project, which is advertised as 36x61mm.

tonight when i was putting together an order to continue my build, i was about to order a cooling can for it, which is advertised as being for the 3630 tp motor and 58mm long. So i decided to double check just to make sure it would work with my mount which uses a ring in the back to hold the motor. Well, not even close. In fact, the tp motor front front edge to rear most edge is exactly 58mm, and as many of you know, the front of the motor is slightly tapered so its not useable 3mm up there.



So what gives here?

Not quite the solution I had in mind. I’m still not sure I’m sticking with this motor at this point

Well I already have this TP motors. I’ll try it. I ordered up a cooling jacket and all that stuff tonight
