Lehner motor connections to esc in any order?

Can anyone tell me if there's a specific way to connect the motor wires to esc on a Lehner 2240? I have removed 1 of the twin motors and can't determine why the the motor arms(goes thru the series of beeps), but when finished there is no response at all when throttle is triggered. I've tried moving the wires from esc to different leads on the 3 posts of motor with no response. Is this more likely a radio issue? It's a Futaba 4PLs with a 603SB rx and a Sf 240hv esc. The other side still arms and spins when throttled. Any help is much appreciated. I have read through all posts from motor talk and esc talk looking for the answer but didn't find anything related.

No specific way. The other side works with the same controller or a separate one?

The other side works with the same controller. Both sides worked fine until I removed and reinstalled the same motor. I do use this same controller for several other models which still work fine.

There is no wrong way to connect the ESC/motor wires which will not let the motor spin. Are you certain that particular motor/ESC arms and you are not hearing the other motor? Could be poor solder job on any of the 6 connectors for that motor.

Or it could be a bad connector on the wires to the receiver. Y harnesses are notorious for this. Corroded plugs or corroded receiver.

Unless you used a mixture of D and Y connections. I haven't tried it, but I can't imagine good things happening, or it working if you mixed them up.

Is it a high amp with the wires out the back or a regular model with the solder traces on the back. You cant get it wrong with a high amp but maybe take a photo of the back marking the points used if it has solder traces.
