    Castle cooling jacket

    Ok I checked around as best I could ,I need to understand how to get a cooling jacket over a castle motor with the ribs on it ?

    It is just a tube of the correct size, with pair of water fittings in it. You fit an Oring between the end pair of ridges at each end of the motor, and slip the tube over the top. You can hunt for the right size tube at plumbers merchant, roll your own from thin carbon, glass, plastic, or ply sheet.

    Or you can buy an alloy HSE one from OSE. You didnt say which castle motor, but if you search castle jacket in the store it brings up jackets for castle 1515, 1518, xo1 and 1717 in stock, and 1512, 1520 and 2028 that I expect will be back in stock before long.
