water jacket ?

Hi all just installed a Leopard 28x40 size water jacket on my b/l motor the good news no leaks the bad news i plan on using this motor in 2 different boats to hook up the water lines i will have to roll the water jacket 90 degree's back and forth between boats to make it work in all my years in the hobby i have never come to a situation like this . My ? is will rolling them back and forward destroy the O-rings ? Should i apply the same thin machine oil e.g. 3 in 1 like when i did the original install when re-positioning the water jacket ? I have had good luck with Vasoline.

I would stick with silicone grease myself. If it ever gets tight, spray some kinda lube inside, let sit for a bit and then twist.

The bolt patter won't allow you to rotate it?
