    Turnigy sk3 3659 1900kv

    Hi all

Thought you may be interested to see how well this motor has held up. Its runs on 6s yes 6s and loves it.
The original builder did his best to seal the motor from the elements being it is on an outboard. has been used in salt water also.

This thing was still running, i couldn't believe it after i stripped it down. the bearings are flogged out, stator had movement in all directions. you can see the marks on it. I did notice a slight decrease in power but it was still singing along quite fine.

I am very impressed with this motor and didn't hesitate to replace it with a new unit.

For the money they are a very good & powerfull motor, was the front end cap threaded into the motor can or just bonded in.

It was threaded but the can thread and cap thread looked different.
I just pried it off as i was replacing the lot anyway.
good bang for buck motor for sure
