You can't "calculate" the amp draw. You will have to rely on the experiences of others. Unfortunately, that motor is totally wrong for that boat, especially on 6S. For example my 1515/1Y on 6S drew over 250 amps in a lightweight SAW boat, and that used a relatively small prop. Too, it generated a lot of heat in under 30 seconds of running.
Don't run twin drives in a 48" mono unless you have plenty of FE experience. Actually a 48" mono is a very poor choice for an FE newbie, it is a complex, expensive build. I strongly recommend that you build a smaller ~30" mono first to learn how to set up a mono. You will thank me later.
if you must build the big mono, use a large single motor like the Castle 2028 on 10S power. Set up right this can give you a fast, reliable, fun model. Remember that the three pillars of FE boats are speed, low cost and reliability - choose any two. A twin mono will be harder to build and be much more prone to failure. Sorry to rain on your parade, but what you propose would be a challenge for a highly experienced builder.

ahh i have the motors and one was in a spartan but esc died was running a 645 prop did get a little warm with that. i was also thinking of putting in 2028's 750 kv on 8-10's and prather 275 props 300 amp esc's dont know on this setup might be better. thanx for the info ya im still learning this stuff any help is greatly appriciated. im kinda stuck whit the twin drives as they were in the hull when i got it just trying to make the best of it as a play around boat. have a new 65 in on the way can maybe set that up better.Comment

is that to big for the motor or to big for twin setup? don't understand the twin sizing yet i know its not half of a single setup that has been proven to work.???
im not looking to get super speed as i have lake huron in my back yard it is not usually flat water most of the time it 1-2 in chop or 6 in rollers have had my spartan up to 60-70 a few times but not very often as the light weight of that boat dosent like to stay in the water unless calm and flat LOL.Comment

If you have no choice with the twin drive because it's already built, then use some to power 4050's or 4060's. The cc 1515 is a bad choice like fluid said.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

BUT, if you are insistent on a twin setup, then I would go Octura 447's and TP 4050(4082) motors. The Kv would depend on what you have for batteries or are willing to buy. Remember that a twin is pretty much double the cost as a single.
So what do you think? Do you have a budget in mind?

Yes 8s would be fine. To give you an idea, this boat is a 40" gas boat converted to FE running 8s on 4040(4074) TP's Thru 442's https://youtu.be/6-KjgtRim_QComment
