Hey what's up,
I'm just in the planning phases for yet another Daytona/Genesis twin. This would be a fall/winter project, but I just want to have all of my eggs lined up so I can count my chickens before they hatch.
In all seriousness, the 40mm motors are huge (diameter wise) in this hull. 4074's seem to be the normal 40mm of choice. I was interested in the 3682 from Dr. Mad Thrust. This is actually supposed to be a higher performance EDF motor, but all of the advertised specs seem to line up with Leopard's 4074. I'm just curious to know what opinions others may have.
Specs:
RPM/V: 1700kv
Voltage: 6s
Max current: 105A
Max Power: 2600 watts
Suggested Rpm Operating Range: 38000rpm
Poles: 4
Diameter: 36mm
Front Mounting Hole Distance: 25mm
Shaft Diameter: 5mm
Shaft Length: 16mm
Front mount Thread Size: M3
Plug type: Bullet-Connector 4.0mm
Weight: 370g
