    hi looking for the timing for a leopard 4074 2200kv running 2 x 2s 6200 mha 50c and prop m645 the boat is tthe insane fe 30

              capt n crash how is the timing adjustable on an elec. motor iam familiar with gas motors but this escapes me?

                timing is adjusted on the esc not the motor.

                      soooo the esc has diff. degrees in timing or calibrations built in ? would auto timing be just as effective would it adjust say from 0 to 15 or something like that ?

                              Most esc's I'm familiar with have a program box that you plug into the esc to make adjustments to a variety of settings including motor timing. Most likely you need to find out what program box is required for your brand of esc and purchase it separately.
