Is this motor a good upgrade for the C1 Flomaster 920 EP?

Hi! I found this motor on HK site:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Inrunner.html. Would it be a good motor to put in this boat, after the stock ones give up?

    Thank you for your inputs!

That is a very nice replacement motor. Have a good look through hobby King, they have a big sale on now and you might find a better motor at same price or something even less expensive if you can believe it.

This is nice but, 29mm coolers are not as easy to find and it has a 4mm shaft. It is more motor than what you listed.

Nice motor, but if i go that way, i need to change the motor mount, and collets. I was planning to move to 36 mm can and then change the motor mount.

The purple motor will work nicely for you and Hobbyking sells a nice cnc aluminum 3 blade prop in 32mm or 35mm. Always start with the smaller one. The cnc props are only 1/8" inside but, your prop shaft may be 4mm??????

If your prop shaft is1/8" then great!

Do the have the reversed one in those size? The prop shaft is 4mm stepdown to 1/8.

Well, i deciede to order 2 of them. The watts difference is huge(600W - 11.1v. max for stock and 1215W - 21v. for this one) I think they will do fine!

No reversed prop. Is yours a twin?

I'm sorry, you did not say it was a twin. There is a blue, 27" C1 Flowmaster single cat at NitroRCX. Sorry, I was confused.
The purple motors are very nice. You'll have to find a source for twin props, sorry, I'm not much help there...

Actually, the purple motors are a lower kv and same size as the stock ones. I have made suggestions on another thread for this boat, HET motors are a step up, the purple HK ones are a small step down.

Are they a step down from the stock ones or the HET one?

And sorry not to have mentioned the twin part, my mistake!
