    TP 3630 1950 Reviews

Going to be a couple weeks yet before our group will be getting to the pond.

Curious as to if there are any reviews that can be shared by some that have decided to give the motor a try.

We'll designate this thread as the official TP 3630 review thread. :)

    Thanks - Doug

        Tlandauer,

Sorry no GPS, so no speed values. With a little lower temps on the TP3630 it would seem to be a little more efficient , so a wee bit faster maybe, but that doesn't matter as its not a legal spec motor for the roundy round. At the end of the day you still gotta finish with no cuts no mater how fast you are.

        Cheers, Jay.

Raced this last weekend at the Marquette RC Boat Club at Oak Forest IL. Ran PLT Mono, Sport Hydro and Tunnel. Large Course and 90 degree day.

Pushing the TP Motors now with the Seaking T180. Zero degree timing. Tunnel comes back 90 degrees. Mono comes back 110. Sport Hydro comes back 130 degrees. Going to put a better cooling jacket on the Sport Hydro. Still got the TP cooling jacket on it. My last heat I tightened up the Mono and it ran wet for the entire mile. Thought for sure I would burn something. Nothing! Not even a smell.

Nice to not to have to worry about motors anymore.
