    European Hulls, Motors, ESCs, etc.

Hi folks, just ha heads up for anyone thinking of buying a hull from H&M, MHZ, Dr Psycho, Toysport, Kukerelli etc, or a Lehner, Plettemberg, Kontronic, Mega motor, or ESC from MGM, YGE, Kontronic etc.

The European Central Bank has just started buying government bonds or quantitative easing, and as a result the Euro is dropping in value, also Greece have a deadline of April 9th to pay back a chunk of a loan the ECB gave them and it is suspected that the will default on it driving the Euro lower, soon the Euro may be worth less than the US Dollar so if you are thinking of buying anything from the eurozone April 10th may well be the time to do it.

Nb this only applies to the Eurozone countries, not all of Europe so no deals to be had on HPR hulls, Mtronics ESCs or Asylum Hulls, as Swiss Francs and British pounds will not be directly effected.

No problem, the rumour is that if Greece default, they may well leave the European Union as they voted in a separatist government at the start of the year, that could effect the Euro either way but I suspect that Greece leaving would raise it, I will be checking the rates often over that period and probably buying all my holiday money and a couple of Lehners if it drops.

Nothing like playing the exchange rate to buy boat parts. Lol
