Not sure why you would want to run 5 or 6s, 4s is plenty with that motor. 5s may be an ok setup with a smaller prop like an x440 but its really not necessary as you can prop up with 4s, x642 etc..........
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

      Hi,

I've been running my Impulse 31v1 with a 4074 1800kv Leopard, 5S 40C batteries, Seaking 120A ESC, Octura x645 prop for several years. Get's up near 60mph. Very reliable, easy on the electronics.

The x642, 4S, 2000kv is perfect. The 5S is just outside the range, but still OK. 6S on a 2000kv is too much RPM and will draw too much current.
A lower kv motor will provide more torque for prop capacity (pitch, diameter) and can do so with higher voltage. Check out the OSE calculators to estimate speed an other metrics.

People are telling you the exact same thing on two different forums! Why do you not believe what people are telling you?
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
