    Leopard Timing

Hey guy's, newbie here with a basic question. What would be a place to start with setting the timing on a Leopard 4074 1050 KV? I am running a pair of these in a 60" model of an air sea rescue boat from WWII, very similar to a PT boat. More interested in a setting that would yield good low to medium speed, than high speed. Thanks for the help.

"Y" motor, set it at 15*
Timing has very little if none to do with speed. It has to do with how the coils are energized and "D" wind motor need low timing , anything from 0-4*, this is only a general guidance.
Too many boats, not enough time...

I ran my 3674 3D on 3.75' of timing with no issues.
