Aquacraft brusless motor 3656 1800 KV and 2030KV

    Dear all master ,
Please tell me if I want to play 5S lipo in my revolt and 60A esc . Which
one aquacraft KV motor is the best choice ? And also which size prop is good for speed to play ? Please advise !

    Thanks !

Neither the motor nor the 60A ESC are meant for 5s lipo. A rating of 1800kv on a motor is conceivably ok with 5s operation but honestly I would not try that set up on this 1800kv AquaCraft motor.
You can try a x442 prop or a x642 that is de-tongued or a M445 prop. I am told that this prop (M445) may give chine walk tendency according to people who owned this boat. I burned this motor with a M445 prop on a Miss Geico, only 45 seconds during the first try of this motor. I understand well that this may be an unfortunate isolated case with inconsistency of quality control, but....
Forget about the 2030 kv on 5s, on 4s you will be lucky that it will give you a long service life. Stick with the 1800kv. If you want more speed, get an after market motor with a higher rating ESC.

Too many boats, not enough time...

that 60A esc handles 5s with the stock 1800Kv motor without any problems up to a 43 mm 1.4p prop
only thing: lvc is a fixed voltage for 4s so you can not thrust it on 5s (thats the only reason why i changed to a seaking 90A)

used it many times like that and it worked flawless and survived ( just upgrade the connectors lipo-side!)

ps : using this aquacraft 1800kv motor now for about a year on 5s :it's not the voltage that kills ; it are the amps!!

Noted and thank you so much iop65 information . That's means do not use 2030 KV stock 60A in 5s to play .
I thinks it will be easy burn the ESC . Is it correct ?

            i wouldn't do that : to much rpm's for a mono (for"play")
you would have to prop down with that 2030 Kv;otherwise the esc won't survive
like TLandauer said : forget about it

i would start with the 1800Kv on 5s with 40 mm 1.4 prop and check temps ,but first upgrade the connectors lipo side :EC5 minimum or 5.5 mm bullets
and remember :no lvc on 5s with that stock esc!

                FYI
I have run one of my UL-1 boats with the 2030kv motor on 5s for a few laps

the aq 1800kv is good for 5s, its the esc thats questionable. sell the esc and buy a seeking 120. done

I run mine with a 120a and turnigy 1900kv 442 prop. probably have to do some adjustments on your hardware at that speed. That motor is good to 6s.
