I wanna go fast..... Prop reccomendations for Turnigy AquaStar 3974-2200KV in a MG29

I had a blowover on my MG29 the first weekend I ran it and the crash cracked the tip of one sponson and the side of the hull. I received a new hull per warranty and decided to repair the one that was broken. I have purchased an Turnigy AquaStar 3974-2200KV for it and I am having mixed emotions regarding prop choice. I plan to run on 4S for driveability most of the time and 5S occasionally. I have seen warnings about not overpropping this motor so I need some help. I run a prather 220 on the stock MG29 replacement hull and it runs cool and fast. Any recommendations will help.

I ran the same motor in a rigger with a X442 with no issues and got a GPS speed of 86.5kph. I would probably still be running it but the motor mount broke out and the motors shaft got bent. An x443 was no problem as well as a cnc 45mmx1.6.

Thank you, I really don't want to smoke a brand new motor. That's plenty fast for a driver. Was that 4s or 5s?

A rigger is NOT a cat, just because a certain prop worked on a rigger is no 'guarantee' it is safe on a much draggier catamaran. Battery and ESC quality matter too, and what were the water and air temperatures? How long was the rigger run? The X442 may be okay, but if the OP uses it he should run for no more than one minute and bring it in to check temps.

Fluid is correct, and knows what he is talking about
Always err on the side of caution and check temps etc. My experience with the aquastar motor was all good. Even running 2p for ten laps it didn't get hot
But every setup has to be proven for itself. Test and check, tweak test and check. The golden rule really

              What is your lap distance?

In USA 1/6th mile oval with 6 laps for a total of a mile plus mill and maybe an extra lap is a total of 1.33 miles.
