New to Service my Neu Motor, help

    Hi,
I think I have finally done a number on my Neu 1515 1y, from what I understand that these motors can be returned to factory and repaired/serviced for a fee.
How do I go about it?
    Thanks!

          Need some advice again!

So Neu e mailed me and told me that my 1515 needs a new stator. No big deal. I asked them if the rotor is still ok and the answer was "YES".
Here is my questions to guys who have serviced their Neu, should I go for a new one ( 40% discount) , but still pricey , or just have it repaired and enjoy?

If the rotor is good and they are replacing the stator, besides the bearings you will essentially have a new motor.

if the repair is 50% of a new motor and
they will send you a new one for 60%
I would get the new one.

Remember that is a 40% discount off the LIST PRICE, not what you can buy on-oline like at OSE. If you get a new Neu stator (hehe) you have a choice of the actual winding wires exiting the can or soft wires.

Thanks Tyler, that is exactly what I needed to know!
                  Cheers!

Thanks, Fluid, I realize it is the full retail price we are talking about, plus I need to pay California sales tax.
I will look into the motor wires' choice, didn't know about that.
At my level of boating, it didn't bother me if the wires were part of the windings, what are the advantages of soft wires besides the obvious merits?
                      Thanks in advance...
