Water cooler for Castle (NEU) 1415 2400kv

I am looking for a water cooler that will work for the Castle 1415 motor.

I purchased and tried one of these from OSE, but it still leaks, I would like to avoid installing using silicon.

Does anyone know of a can that can be installed correctly and doesn't leak?

I have one similar to this one: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...e-80959-jacket

Mine works fine with no leaks but it is not identical to the one in the link above, it is black and I can't remember where I got it. The one you showed looks too short. Here is a shot of mine, it covers all the grooves:

      Thanks Jay,

Your right, the one I have is probably a little short and sits in the small groves of the motor not getting enough interference when installed. I may give this one a try.

      Thanks,
      Mike

I used the 36mm long one for mine. No issues. I'll look in my acct folder and see which one.

I believe mine is 60mm long, it is for a 540XL motor. It is not "tight" on the 1415 can but it doesn't leak on a 70 mph rigger.

I use a xl cooling jacket, if I put it next to the motor mount, it will leak, if I put it next to the wires, it wont leak.

For those of you following along in this thread; this cooling can won't work it's too long http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...e-80959-jacket

I am going to try this next http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ham-jack-540XL We will see.

I am pretty sure that is the one I have on mine.
