TP Leopard or NEU for pursuit

Hello i have a pursuit rc boat and want to upgrade it to go faster but don't know wich motor to buy yet. I would like to run in the mid 60's. Im running a Dr. Mad thrust 1600Kv 2400W motor know topping at 46MPH with the Turnigy 180A ESC

I would kind the leopard 4074 or 4082 on the site that has a similar kv. Don't some guys run like 2200kv on 4s2p in this boat?

what do you think about a leopard 4082 2000kv on 6s?

nope that is a wicked setup. 1600kv on 6s.

That is a serious setup I mean it might survive for a little while but put it this way. I have two leopard 4082s with 3 years of use 1600kv never had an issue and neither will you if you keep it on 6s.

2000kv on 6s, might last a season, might last 3 minutes. donno. its up to you how much risk you want to take.

hahaha ok so i will order an leo 4082 1600KV on 6s i have Octura x447/2 will that be a good prop or will i have t order a other one

not too sure I think others will have to chime in I haven't run that boat even the 4074 will push it fine.

the pursuit is a great running boat from what I've heard but other guys can help more than me with prop tuning on that thing, for sure.
